WHAT'S GOING ON

We still receive many requests for copies of the questions generated two years ago by our Inquirers' Class..  If you are interested in the questions that inquiring young people in Guyana are asking about Christianity and about the Church,
click here for an unedited file of the questions (in their own words)  they think are important.

Christ Church (as Guyana) has this year lost a record number of members through migration north.

On the more positive side we are about to launch a new ministry training programme aimed at strengthening our work and witness.  If you are living in Georgetown, Guyana, you are invited to take part in this training exercise.

If you live in Guyana or ever visit Georgetown, Guyana, we would love to welcome you in person.
Pentecost 2003
was celebrated at Christ Church with the usual ceremony and a good congregation.   The focus of sermons for Pentecost will be openess to change which is the mark of the work of the Spirit .

As we recognize that the importance of Pentecost is to be found not in the event but in the events that followed,  We at Christ Church are embarking this year on a follow-up Pentecost programme that will involve looking critically at the change taking place around us--in Church and society.
QUESTIONS
At Christ Church we live on questions because we are a community of persons seeking the truth as well as a community of believers.  We believe that we have found some of the answers, but we know that we have not found all of the answers.  And we are willing to accept that even the answers we have found may be incomplete.

Christ said "...ask..."  There is so much in life which we deny ourselves because we never ask.

DO YOU HAVE A QUESTION ?

All questions (however seemingly trivial) are answered.  If you want to know when your question will be answered, you will have to give your electronic or physical addesss.
