| ThyCa Twin Cities 2003 Meeting Schedule: January 18th, 10am - **Guest Speaker** Anne Carlson Davis from the American Cancer Society and an 8 year thyroid cancer survivor, will be informing us about the upcoming Relay for Life event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. February 22nd, 3pm - Normal meeting March 15th, 3pm - **SPECIAL GUESTS** - We are proud to welcome 10 health delegates from Belarus as part of a program through the US Dept of State. They come to hear about our experiences with thyca as well as tell us about their treatment programs in Belarus. Belarus experienced the greatest fallout from the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986. Thyroid cancer has increased by 300% since 1986 in their area. We are very honored to have them with us at our meeting. April 19th, 10am - **Guest Speaker** Andy Madson a representative from Genzyme the creators of Thyrogen. He will tell us about Thyrogen and its uses for thyca patients. May 17th, 12:30pm - Edina Community Library **Sunday May 18th - ThyCa National Fundraiser for Thyroid Cancer Research. June 21st, 10am - Hennepin County Ridgedale Library June 27th, 6pm - June 28th, 6am - American Cancer Societies Relay For Life event at Kuhlman Stadium, Edina, MN.
