artemisia dracunculus Compositae AKA Estragon Little Dragon Mugwort (French) Herbe au Dragon PARTS USED leaves, floweriing plant, and herb Flowering time: Mid to late summer. Astrology: A martial plant. Perennial Shrub 2 feet tall. A shrubby plant with woody stems growing about three feet (90 cm) high and clothed with narrow green leaves two inches (5 cm) long. The greenish flowers are small and inconspicuous. Found in sunny dry areas in the weatern United States, southern Asia, and Siberia. In Europe it is cultivated for the leaves.
