Since September 15, 1977, I have worked at Central Washington University, and for the last ten in the Career Services office.
Please visit our office site.

I also feel very lucky to work in such a beautiful building. Barge Hall was built in 1893 as the original site of our University. About 15 years ago the building was refurbished back to its old grandeur. Great care was taken to preserve the feel and look of the building, including using as much of the old wordwork as possible.
This is a photo of the building.

I am quite fortunate, as well, to be a docent with the Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute, which is located here on the campus of Central Washington University. This santuary is dedicated to improving the lives of captive Chimpanzees and all captive animals. Below is a photo of Washoe, the original member of this project from the CHCI website. Getting the chance to work with this amazing animal and her 'family' is a true treasure. When you look into her eyes, it grabs your heart. If you are one of the lucky ones, like I have been, getting a 'kiss' or 'tickle' through the glass from Washoe is a gift you cherish. I hope that everyone will get an opportunity to come to one of our Chimposiums to learn about this fantastic program (more information at the CHCI web-page.)
