| Once Sister Sister ended in 1999, Tia and Tamera decided to go to college at Pepperdine University in California. They took all of the same classes, and earned psychology degrees in May. In between they kept on acting by starring in the movie "Seventeen Again" in 2000 and then in "The Hot Chick" in 2002. Now you can watch for them on Disney Channel on the "Express Yourself" commercials and on old episodes of Sister, Sister, which air every day. (See SS Schedule.) They also appear occasionally on religious TV shows and in award shows too. We will keep you updated! |
| Tia and Tamera celebrated their 26th birthday on July 6th, 2003. We made them a birthday site where fans can leave them a birthday message.. (Go check it out!) Its a year old I know because Tia and Tamera are now 26 but you can still sign the guestbook for them. :) |

| *Album Info* Another success story is that of Tia and Tamera Mowry. The now 25 year-old actresses were able to capitalize on their "twinness," as well as comedic acting ability, with their sitcom "Sister, Sister," which ran from 1994-1999. Though both are currently finishing their last year of a psychology degree at Malibu, California's Pepperdine University, they're looking to defer the use of their psych degrees to do more in entertainment. Declares Tia about what their fans can expect in the near future, "We're working with some producers, recording songs that are a mix of R&B, hip-hop and pop. We sang and danced long before we ever acted and we're really excited about the album we're working on for Columbia." No release date for the CD has been set, but the Mowry's expect it to hit record store shelves by year's end. |
