Steve Deats and the Ti Ayiti Drum and Dance Troupe are an inter-generational Drum & Dance ensemble providing performances in the Afro-Caribbean folk arts tradition.

Overwhelming enthusiasm has dominated the response to our programs.

The goal of the performance is to educate the audience to the culture and artistic creativity of Haiti and other Caribbean countries. This not only enables members of our audiences to see first hand the complexity of the drumming and dancing but it also encourages them to achieve simple rhythms and movements in order to take something home with them.
