Man gets in a plan the plane crash's and he's stuck on as island for ages until he’s rescued. But it looked a good film so i went to check it out. I wasn't overly impressed about this film. Tom Hanks put in a good performance as usual but the film lacked a bit of umps. Maybe is because there have been so many films about castaways that's its beginning to wear thin now. It is basically about Hanks playing a guy who is constantly busy travelling with his work in the courier business that for him and his girlfriend to get together they have to fit it in around work. And check their diaries. Basically during a work flight the plane goes down  in a dramatic scene and Hanks find himself washed up on a island. And is stuck there for about 3 years. During his time there you see him develop to island life make friends with a football named Wilson and become very hairy. As well as Hanks Wilson put in a good performance to. but didn’t say much. I wouldn't be bothered on seeing this film again as its a bit boring. I thought the ending was sweet and its not a bad film but certainly not worth a Oscar in my opinion.
