Abe and Lexie survived a lot, including the discovery that Stefano, Abe's long-time enemy, is Lexie's father. Abe is a captain at the Salem Police Department, where Lexie also used to work. When she was fired from the P.D, she and Abe temporarily split up. They eventually reconciled and Lexie was on staff at University Hospital. In spite of their demanding and often conflicting schedules, their marriage was stronger than ever. And then their dream came true when Stefano arranged for them to adopt a baby, whom they christened Isaac Theo. But their baby was switched with Bo and Hope's, and in the end Isaac went back to his real parents, and their original intended child was given to his biological father. Lexie knew about the baby switch for a while and kept it secret, then tried to run away with Isaac, and Abe could not forgive her and sought a divorce. They got back together and had a baby boy, Theo. Abe retired to spend time with his family. Abe was believed to have been killed in 2003 by the Salem Serial Killer, but it turns out he is alive and being held captive on an island. While he's been gone, Lexie has been growing closer to Tek. If Abe ever comes back to Salem, will he and Lexie still be a couple? |
