Patch(Steve) and Kayla were married in the summer of 1988 aboard a yacht, and spent their honeymoon in the Orient. But in 1990, Marina(Patch's wife who was beleived to be dead) returned, and their marriage was declared invalid. When Marina was found dead, they tried to get married again, but Kayla was arrested for suspicion of her murder. Kayla was pregnant at this time, and she gave birth to their daughter, Stephanie, in jail. Their nanny, Sheila, who had lost her own child, kinapped the baby. Kayla escaped from jail, and she and Patch chased Sheila to Australia. Kayla was exonerated, and they finally tracked down Sheila, and Stephanie was returned to them. They finally married again, but by the end of the year, Patch had been caight in an explosion. He came out out his coma, but his IV was poisoned. Patch died in Kayla's arms. |
