| Miss Media Elect- This award is given to the contestants that the media like the best! Then Tiffany deserved it. Probably the contestant that won this award communicate with the media well and is welling to interview. People like Lee San San, Theresa Lee, Gloria Tam, Shirley Chau, Kenix Kwok, Tiffany Lam and etc. I believed this award was first given out in 1993. Most of the people who got this award usually makes it to the top 5! |
| Miss Morden Style- This is a new award this year. This award is given to the contestant that has the new century style! Tiffany was given this award by Gigi Chung whom won the Miss Enhanced Beauty last year! I believe that there is always a new award given in the finals beside 1,2,3 place and Miss International Goodwill starting from about 1999, 2000. |
| Miss International Goodwill- This award is given to the contestant that is fluent in both chinese and english! Some say this award is often among the best in interview. The purpose of this award is to promote Hong Kong tourism aboard! This award will first given in 1987 to Pauline Yeung Bo Ling. And so on, this award was presented every year. The winner of Miss Hong Kong 1987,88,89,91,99,00, and 2002 won this award. Also "some" contestants whom gets this awards usually ends up in the top 5. | Some Neat Information- The Number #11 won 4 times in the year 1990,1992,2000,2002. Seens like a net pattern, 0 and 2. The number #12 had made the top 5 eight times while #2 is next with 7 times! The unlucky numbers from the early years are 25,26,27. The unlucky numbers after there were 20 contestants are 3,5,7,and 10. #3 is the unluckiest number, none of the contestants with that number ever placed. #7 is also a very unlucky number with only a contestant with that number placing one time. That contestant with #7 won Miss Hong Kong 1991, she was Amy Kwok. The number #1 and #9 had made the top 12 the most times. Hmm...I wonder what number will win next year!
