~~~ MESSAGES FROM FAMILY & FRIENDS ~~~
Max,
How do I write what words can not possibly say? I can't say "Happy" Birthday because I know that it will not be "Happy"! Others can not understand this, not even family, but you know I do.
I do pray you have a peaceful day filled with happy memories. I know Eric and Holli and Gabriel (and maybe even me) will bring you a little joy on your special day, but it will not be complete without Daddy's Gurl physically there!
Just know that she is watching for sure and sending you all her love for your special day and for every day.
You are a wonderful Daddy and I hope the memories of all the joys we had together as a family will bring you some happiness and comfort.
You are still her Daddy and always will be! Your relationship has only changed from physical to spiritual. Remember she is not just in your past but she is in the present and she is also in our future in Heaven.
Love 4-ever,
Dawn
Pops,
It's been 2 years (exhausting years) since our angel went to Heaven. I know Tiff and you have always had a special love. We all have our own relationships with her. I know the pain is always in your face because I face it too.
I know Tiff would be real excited and making jokes about you being old (even though you really aren't). We have had many good times as a family and I am sure we will have many more. It's just that we can't see Tiff sharing the good times; but she's here.
I love you Dad and I hope your B-day is good.
Much Love,
Eric
~~Tears in Bottles ~~
by Eric (for his Dad on his 44th birthday)
They say angels catch your tears in bottles,
And store them in a special place;
What a task it must be for them,
To see the pain upon your face.
I doubt they know how it feels,
To hold your daughter so tight;
That your normal hugs are called "squeezers,"
And you get them every night.
Do you think they have a clue,
What her smile does to your heart?
I'm not sure they would recognize,
How it feels to be torn apart.
Do they know how when she would slip,
You would break her fall?
Wonder if they understand the love she holds,
For her protector down the hall.
And where they live,
Do the walls peel with memories,
Of an immeasurable love?
Between a Daddy and his baby girl,
Who now lives up above.
And in his silence he speaks to her,
So that only she can hear;
Knowing that he will pick up where he left off,
A bottle catches his tears.
Happy Birthday Max! I hope you really enjoy this page. Being a Daddy's Girl myself, the pictures of Tiff and you make me the saddest. I can't begin to count the numbers of ways I know you miss her. Even though you can't see her, she'll be here this year to help you blow out all your candles~ I love you.
Holli
Happy Birthday Max,
I know it's hard to be happy without your little girl. She filled your home with such life and laughter. I know that you hold wonderful memories in your heart and I also know how much she adored you, her Daddy.
She was such a bright and wonderful and beautiful young woman. Remember all the hugs and kisses she gave you with such enthusiasm. She loved both her parents very deeply but I know that she was always Daddy's little girl.
I wish for you each day something to look forward to and I know she will always be in your mind and heart. I believe God sent Gabriel to give you another reason to smile. He is truly a gift from God and I'm sure Tiffany is watching over him as I believe she watches over all the ones she loves.
Bless you and know that as your Mother-in-law and friend, I love you very much.
Love,
Jeannine
Happy Birthday Max!
I know I gave you a card, but you deserve more from me. I want you to know I love you. You have been so helpful to me these past years.
I know your birthdays seem so empty now, but I want to tell you what a great Father you were to Tiffany. I appreciate all the days you brought her to visit me. It meant a lot to your Dad, for he loved Tiffany. She was his "Little Lady." We loved her so much. It's hard to go forward but we must.
Love,
Mom
Happy 44th Birthday Max
Dear Max,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! Harriett and I were 44 once... probably our "best" age. We had more energy and stamina then. However, other than that, the best years are before you. Both you and Dawn are in our prayers every day. Our prayer for all our married children is "That they be on one flesh,
one mind, one accord and of one spirit in Christ."
If Tiffany is looking down from Heaven, I believe that this would also be her prayer. She would want to look down and see both of you cheerful, happy and a life filled with joy. We believe that our Mothers, now in Heaven sense and feel our grief, sorrow and joy. We believe that they prefer....Joy, the same as if they were right here, right now.
I have a "Big Mouth Billy Bass" on my study wall that sings "Don't worry, be happy." SO BE HAPPY! We wish you happiness, contentment, good health and long life. You have a great blessing in your family. Enjoy them. My greatest joy has been in my children even with the heart aches.
Best wishes,
Mike and Harriett
Hey Max,
So this is the day you came to be! I am glad you did! I always feel that when we talk it is real. Sometimes we may not say a lot but that is not what is important. The fact is you are always real and I consider you to be more than a friend.
You are a great guy, and a great dad and I am thankful that God allowed Dawn and you to find each other. I pray you will have a peaceful day and find some joy in your memories.
You know I love you
Cissy
