Juve's very own Alessandro Del Piero and Filippo Inzaghi make the front pages after Italy's fantastic win over co-hosts Belgium.

We find a very serene Alex Del Piero in the Gazzetta dello Sport: "I played a couple more minutes and we obtained a crucially important win. Italy are no longer dark horses, we've reached a certain level of form." The Bianconeri's favourite son continues his analysis in the Milan football pink: "We contained a determined Belgium well and where possible launched our own counter-attacks." Pippo Inzaghi was also in buoyant mood despite not finding the net: "I am pleased with my assist to Fiore." Mark Iuliano was also praised and his aerial prowess in particular noted.

The Corriere dello Sport also cites Del Piero: "Let's not forget that the main thing is the win and that we kept the momentum going from the first match. I am pleased because Delvecchio, Ambrosini and myself were not found wanting when called upon and built on the first half's good work."

Tuttosport, not to be outdone, picks up on the ex-Padova star who has kind words for his Roman rival: "Totti is beginning to really turn it on but I would not start talking of us not being able to play together."
