The papers turn their attention
to Juve's upcoming clash with Atalanta and to the return of Alex Del Piero
alongside Filippo Inzaghi.
The Gazzetta dello Sport
leads with, "Alex and Inzaghi, less incisiveness, but more football." The
paper points out that this is Alex's great chance to prove a point, with
David Trezeguet out injured, he can remind everyone of exactly who he is.
The Corriere dello Sport
highlights the fact that if the Bianconeri win tonight, they would go first.
Carlo Ancelotti says, "I can hardly believe it. We were eight points off
the lead... Roma will be afraid."
Tuttosport 'reveals' that
Antonio Cassano will go only to Juve or Milan. The Bari president, Antonio
Mataresse, announces that "I would only let Cassano join the presidents
that count, that is Agnelli or Berlusconi." But the fans are divided on
just how much the 18-year-old is worth when asked whether £ 22 million
are too many. 47.5% said yes, 52.5% said no. Ancelotti had advice for Del
Piero ahead of tonight's clash. "He shouldn't concentrate on scoring, but
on dragging Juventus to victory and the top of the League."
