Del Piero at "Campioni per Sempre"

On Wednesday night, Alessandro Del Piero attended the Campioni per Sempre show. The event, organized by Italy's most famous sports newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport, and broadcasted live by Raiuno, awarded the personalities who, somehow, stand out in the sports world. Many football champions from Serie A were present at the event, and Alex was followed by his girlfriend, Sonia.

On this year's ceremony, Alex received an award together with players like Juve team-mate, Gianluca Zambrotta, Milan's Andriy Shevchenko, Inter's Francesco Toldo, Lazio's Alessandro Nesta and Roma's Francesco Totti and coach Fabio Capello.

As usual, there were some jokes and amusing comments during the show. When asked why he always looks unhappy during the matches, Del Piero answered it is because the other players sometimes act violent with him. However, he admitted he does the same with his opponents. The host then said "if Collina finds out about it...", to which Alex answered "he knows it already!" Del Piero also mentioned that, between winning the Scudetto or the Champions League, he would prefer the latter.
