He could have been one of the stars of the next World Cup in Japan and Korea. Instead, unfortunately for him and his Croatia, Igor Tudor's world championship is over before even having started. An ankle that gave him troubles all year and in the end came the decision to operate. So to resolve the problem once and for all. The Croatian giant will not play against Italy during the qualification round. All of his Juve teammates are close to him. Like the captain Del Piero: "Igor tried his best for himself, Juve and his National Team. He never gave up throughout the whole season. It's a shame, I'm very sorry that he won't take part of these world championships. Even though we won on Sunday he was sad to be operated".
