Alex inspired by Japanese comic strip

According to an article released today by Agence France Press, a Japanese manga (comic strip) helped the love for football growing strong in Alex Del Piero.

The article tells the story of Yoichi Takahashi and "Captain Tsubasa" - the character he created in 1981. Takahashi travelled to Europe in 2000, where he met several footballers: among them, there were Francesco Coco and Alessandro Del Piero, who told Takahashi that they had read his comics - named "Holly e Benji" in Italy - from an early age.
