In the Aosta Valley, the sounds of football fill the air once more. This year the Bianconeri's headquarters will again be at Scuola Alberghiera in Chatillon, where the squad will train until 10 August.

For now Ancelotti has called up only 14 first team players who, together with five youngsters from the Primavera youth team, will begin training ahead of the Intertoto Cup. Among the new faces are young goalkeeper Isaksson, O'Brien and Bachini. From 10 July, Ancelotti will have the whole squad together. Del Piero and Zidane will be back and also the players from the Italian and other national sides who have been given a few extra days' holiday.

Official engagements are now very close but before Juve's first Intertoto Cup match, scheduled for 17 or 18 July, the Bianconeri will play two friendlies (8 and 12 July) against local opposition.
