The nervous system contains the brain, nerves, and the spinal cord. And it is one of the most important system in your entire body. The job of this system is to receive, processes, and carry out signals.The brain carry out the messenges and tells the muscles and the bones how to react to it. There are three parts of the nervous system. And they are: -The central nervous system: consists of the brain and the spinal cord. It sends nerve impulses and receive information from your sense organs. -The periherial nervous system: includes the craniospinal nerves that branch off from the brain and the spinal cord. It carries the nerve impulses from the central nervous system to the muscles and glands. -The autonomic nervous system: regulates involuntary action, such as heart beat and digestion. |
