Back in the early eighties Gorakhnath Balkawde was making a name for himself by becoming one of the fastest and powerful wrestlers to come our of Nasik.In those days he had no gym nor wrestling mats to train on - all he had was a friend to help out as a coach and a make shift mud pit.Today after years of establishing himself and his sport of Indian Wrestling Wrestling also known as "Kushthi" - Gorakhnath is now also co-promoting MMA by bringing in Daniel Isaac another Martial Arts Veteran to come out of Nasik by starting the Tigers Gym at the Balkawde International Sports Complex.You can also avail of training in Indian kusthi under Mr Balkawde or his son vishal "cyclone" balkawde when you visit tigers gym - training costs Rs 250/- per session of kusthi
