| Below is how I charge my candles. It may work for you or you may decide to do it your own way. Remember: Whatever feels right to you!! |
| Center your energy. (meditation is used most often) Holding the candle between the palms of your hands, send your energy into the candle. Visualize the energy travelling down your arms into the candle. Bless the candle. (Bless this candle, that it may aid my work) The candle is charged. |
| The candle will not hold energy for long. Once it's job is done, the energy is used up. When it's time to use the candle again, you must charge it again! |
| The charging of candles can be a wonderful experience. The meditation will calm and focus you. Notice that I do not annoint my candles, but you may if that is what you wish. Candles are not always necessary. But, the beautiful glow of the flame enhances your rituals and spell casting. I use white candles more than any other. They are good "all-purpose" candles. |
