| Casting a Circle |
| Casting a Circle is not always necessary. But, when complex magick is involved, or during a ritual, it gives incredible strength and protection. |
| Casting the Circle 1. Put everything into place: altar, tools, etc. 2. Center your energy. 3. Face North, extend your right arm and index finger. Visualize your energy glowing at your fingertip. 4. Walk clockwise with arm extended, visualizing a circle of light forming from the energy in your fingertip. 5. Stand in the center and say "I cast this circle for protection from that which would harm me I call into this circle only the forces that are needed for my work." 6. Envoke the Four Corners and the Elements. (Refer to BOS for information on the Elements.) |
| Opening the Circle 1. Face North and extend arm and index finger. 2. Walking counter-clockwise, say "I open this circle, sending it out to do my work. This circle is opened but not broken." |
