The Pentagram |
![]() |
Pagans are NOT Satanists!! Get that straight! There is a religious path called Satanism, but I know nothing about it, therefore I won't go into it. Pagans do not recognize the Christian God or Satan. Neither is ever mentioned in our spellwork or rituals. Nor do we perform sacrifices of people or animals. |
The pentagram is simply a 5-pointed star. The points represent the 5 elements (discussed on another page). Depicted with a circle (representing the circle of life), it is called a pentacle. Wiccans see the pentagram as a symbol of their beliefs and display it often. Other pagans see the pentagram as a symbol of personal power. |
Many people also see the pentagram as a symbol of a person. There is a "head", 2 "arms" and 2 "legs". |
The pentagram and pentacle mean different things to different people. I use them as graphs of the elements. |
