The Nursery
You come to a clearing in the forest, where you see a huge waterfall splashing down into a pool, which flows off to the side and forms a river. You notice a hole in the cliff wall on the other side of the waterfall, and decide to check it out. It's the opening of a large cave. The first thing you notice when you step inside are the walls of the cave. They're tinted royal purple. You walk deeper into the cave, and several dark shapes begin to approach you. As they step out of the shadows you can see that they're dragons. Not just any dragons, but KingdomDragons!

Crudus is a beautiful, large, male jade. He is very immature and often a bully to those he dislikes, though he treats all of his adopted siblings with a fierce over protectiveness. He's extremely strong, and few win in fights against him. He doesn't neccessarily like fighting, but the second he thinks someone's invading his territory, he gets very angry. Often times only Ripple's soft crooning can calm him down. Crudus is a father! He and Persephone have had their first clutch! Go to ODA to get one of their eggs! I've kept one too, which has hatched and grown into a beautiful blue, whom I've named Teul.

Ripple is very calm and content. She likes to go swimming in the pool at the base the waterfall, and she also loves to sing. She actually made the pool and waterfall to share with her siblings when she first matured and discovered her power over water. She has little or no temper at all, and befriends nearly everyone. She often plays peacemaker in brawls between her brothers. Ripple has met her match! A young red named Bane saw her, and was immediately determined to have her for his mate. He immediately began showering her with gifts, including the Spirit Flower below. Ripple is equally infatuated with this bold young warrior. He has captured her heart with his poetry and love. | |
| Festinus is very hasty and impatient. He can't sit still for any amount of time, and he's always itching for a fight. Even when he was just a sub-adult, he loved to challenge the other young dragons in combat. Now, he and Crudus often play wrestle in their spare time, but Crudus usually wins. Though he likes to play rough with other male dragons, Festinus has a reputation as quite the flirt when it comes to the girls.

Atra, though the youngest of the four elder siblings, is very wise and a very powerful magic user, even for a black dragon. In fact, his powers are even said to greater those of most whites! He is somewhat of a loner, though he loves his adopted siblings just as much as they love him. They often come to him for advice or for help in solving difficult problems or riddles. Now, he also spends some of his time with young Licet, tutoring her in the art of magic. He and his new mate Orthil have just had their first clutch. I was going to keep one, when Atra told me no. When I asked him why, all he told me was: "The future is a hurricane. I can feel it brewing. Soon, it comes. But a hurricane too soon is no more than a breeze, forgotten in the mists of time. The longer it holds, the stronger it be." What? I wish Atra would talk so the rest of us could understand him, just once. But this cryptic riddle stuff is his thing. Other dragons like to spread rumors that Atra can see the future. I don't know about that, because if he can, he's never told me, nor anyone for that matter. Someday he'll tell us all what he means. He always does.

| Orien is a bit skittish at first, and usually hides from those she doesn't know. However, with a bit of reassurance, she can be coaxed out to meet friendly visitors. She is very playful, especially for an adult dragon. Surprisingly enough, she even likes to swim with Ripple in the pool. |

Licet, though seeminly innocent at first, is very sly and often likes to play pranks on the other dragons. They all find this very annoying and tiresome, except Atra, who just thinks it's hilarious, and Orien, who's always up for any kind of play. Perhaps the reason Atra is so amused with Licet's conniving personality is the fact that she hasn't ever been able to catch him off guard, especially since her pranks often involve magic and Atra is a master. She's fascinated with magic of all kinds, and often watches him practice his magic. In fact, she's probably the only one of all of the dragons that Atra wouldn't mind the constant company of, and is his first and only student.

| Maior, unlike most rainbows is very outgoing. She is by nature very curious, and seeminly fearless. She's always the first to greet a new visitor, and if she sees something she hasn't ever seen before, she'll just trot right up to it and give it a sniff. She also loves flying. She loves to glide above the trees and soar high in the air.

Teul, slightly unlike his father, Crudus, is fairly passive and calm. He's very curious as well, and loves to learn new things. He likes to spend time with Ripple, whom he affectionately calls "Auntie Rip", and the two of them often have long conversations by the pond. His even-temper makes him always pleasant to be around, and the other dragons find him very amiable.

| Aduro has finally matured into his full adult self! And what a moody self he is! He's bold and fierce, and, though young, is never too shy to challenge Crudus or Festinus! He squabbles over anything, and delights in accusing others of challenging his territory. At the drop of a hair he'll leap into a battle, occasionally catching even Festinus off guard, though in the end it doesn't make much of a difference as he's an unseasoned youngster compared to the battle lusty red.

Persephone & Crudus have had their second clutch, and Orthil & Atra have just had their first! Go to ODA and adopt one!
Quilo has grown into a Subadult! She is a beautiful Wind dragon, just like her mother, Persephone (Crudus's mate). She is her father's pride and joy, and her brother's shadow. She follows him wherever he goes. Like Ripple, she likes to sing, and also enjoys playing with the other KingdomDragons, especially Teul, who in turn adores his little sister and loves to spend time with her. Her playfulness is exceeded only by her curiosity.
