ABC.com character bio:

Bianca Montgomery is the pride and joy of her mother, the famous and beautiful Erica Kane. In the early 1990's Erica began an affair with Jackson Montgomery, while still married to his brother Travis, Bianca's father. Erica divorced Travis and started to openly see Jackson. Bianca, unable to deal with her mother wanting her uncle, set fire to her dolls in Erica's house. Travis sued for sole custody of Bianca and called Jackson to the stand, forcing him to admit to his affair with Erica, which ultimately led to Erica losing custody of Bianca. Travis and his wife, Barbara, moved with Bianca to Seattle, where she spent most of her childhood.

In the mid 1990's, Bianca returned to Pine Valley, while her mother was married to Dimitri Marick. During this, Bianca met her newfound half-sister Kendall Hart. Jealous of Bianca's bond with Erica, Kendall hated Bianca, and the feeling was mutual. Kendall used every dirty trick in the book to try to become Erica's "golden" daughter, but she could never be Bianca. Bianca was nearly attacked by Erica's rapist, Richard Fields (Kendall's father) when Kendall (in search of the truth of her conception) brought him to town.

After having gone back to Seattle to be with her father and step-mother, Bianca returned once again to Pine Valley in 1997. Bianca began feeling distant from her mother (who during these interim periods still visited her), but the pressure of being a superstar's daughter caught up with her. Bianca developed anorexia and nearly starved herself to death. Bianca's family decided to try therapy to help Bianca. During her therapy, she pulled out her feeding tube, and finally admitted her feelings about the loss of her mother at a young age, the involvement of her uncle with her mother, her dysfunctional relationship with her sister, etc. Bianca finally admitted that she was anorexic and moved back to Seattle, where she was able to get the help that she needed.

Teenaged Bianca returned in 2000 with a secret. Bianca bonded with Erica's latest beau, David Hayward, as well as her newfound best friend Leo du Pres (who was residing at Erica's house). Erica felt the need to make up for all of her lost time with Bianca as well as making sure that Bianca stayed healthy. Erica had the image of "like mother, like daughter" that made Bianca uncomfortable more and more. Erica also felt that Leo and Bianca were becoming too close, thinking that Bianca was attracted Leo, and warned Leo against playing her daughter for a fool. Leo had nothing but the best intentions towards Bianca, and was there for her during what would be the start of a huge ordeal. For Bianca was keeping a secret from her mother for fear of Erica's rejection and disappointment. Bianca was gay.

Erica and Bianca's relationship remained tense, as Erica felt the need to be actively involved in all aspects of her daughters life-particularly her lack of a boyfriend. Erica decided to throw Bianca an extravagant sweet sixteen bash, which Bianca didn't want. Bianca found out at the end of the night that her father had died suddenly in Seattle. Unfortunately, Bianca never had the chance to tell Travis that she was a lesbian. Erica was granted sole custody and Bianca moved to Pine Valley permanently.

Bianca began to search for her ex-girlfriend Sarah, whom she had met while in therapy for anorexia. When she found Sarah, she was informed that Sarah was about to be married to a man and refused to accept her homosexuality or a relationship with Bianca-thanks to her conservative and disapproving parents. Bianca began befriending a runaway named Rain, who introduced Bianca to a gay bar. Leo and Greenlee Smythe (now duPres) followed her into the bar and were shocked, as Bianca's comfort and behavior inside indicated she was a lesbian. Leo completely accepted Bianca, while Greenlee, never fond of Bianca, held this information over Bianca's head. When Bianca saw a drugged Greenlee push Laura English overboard on the ill-fated Libidozone cruise, Greenlee threatened to tell Erica that Bianca was a lesbian unless she kept her mouth shut.

Bianca continued to hide the truth from her mother until the tense relationship with Erica reached a boiling point. Continually insisting on Bianca's need for a male suitor, Bianca emotionally confessed to her mother that she was gay. Erica went through a range of emotions from denial to anger. Meanwhile, with her blackmail information nullified, Greenlee reported Bianca's homosexuality to the tabloids, and sleazy reporter Donald Steele outed Bianca at the Crystal Ball.

Bianca and Erica began their bumpy road to reconciliation. Erica blamed herself, then Travis, then everyone else who had ever entered Bianca's life - never believing that Bianca could possibly be a lesbian. Erica had always wanted Bianca's life to be idyllic but her daughter's homosexuality threatened her vision of Bianca's future, and posed more difficulties that Bianca might face in life. Eventually, with the help of those who cared about her, Erica began to move on and realized she wanted what's best for her daughter, even if that meant her being happy with another woman. Bianca began developing a crush on her friend, Laura English. Laura was straight, but Bianca was able to put her feelings aside.

Later that year, Bianca began getting involved with con artist Frankie Stone. Bianca and Frankie developed a very close relationship. Erica, believing Frankie a crook, did not like this and tried several times to drive Frankie out of town. Bianca and Frankie had just about reached a point in their relationship where Frankie admitted her feelings towards Bianca, but an emotionally confused Frankie hooked up with JR-and Bianca witnessed it! Although Bianca was heartbroken, she was even more disturbed to find out that on that same night, Frankie was murdered. Erica confessed (believing that a jealous Bianca was responsible) that she killed Frankie, but in the end it was revealed that Frankie's aunt murdered her. Soon after the charges were pressed against Erica, Maggie Stone (Frankie's identical twin sister) came to town. Bianca and Maggie became extremely close as they bonded over the loss and life of Frankie.

Despite Bianca developing feelings for Maggie, Maggie made it clear she was straight. Regardless, the two quickly became best friends. Bianca and Maggie's friendship is one of the cornerstone's of Bianca's life. They understand each other and are completely honest and open with one another.

Bianca began working for her mother at Enchantment and met the beautiful European bombshell, Lena Kundera. Lena was secretly working (and sleeping) with Michael Cambias to take over Enchantment, but genuinely fell for Bianca. Once Bianca found out that Lena had been lying to her and used her position as Erica's daughter to break into Erica's safe, Bianca broke up with Lena. She plotted along with Erica and Kendall to take down Michael-and by default-Lena. However, Bianca realized that she did truly care for Lena, and with the help of her friends, decided to give their relationship another chance (Lena had been cleared of charges in exchange for turning evidence against Michael). Just as Bianca began letting her guard down, Michael set Lena up, making it look like Lena was once again using sex with men to get herself ahead in the world. Bianca broke up with Lena and vowed to never wear her heart on her sleeve and be hurt again. When it was discovered that Lena was telling the truth, the two reconciled.

Unfortunately Michael Cambias, having unsuccessfully tried to assault Kendall and Erica, raped Bianca in a cruel attack against her mother and sister. During a storm, Bianca burned her clothes and shut down as a result of the rape. She immediately closed Lena out of her life. Erica, who was immersed in planning her wedding to Jackson and keeping Greenlee's mother, Mary Smythe at bay, believed Bianca when she said that she was just upset because she and Lena had broken up. David noticed that Bianca was troubled and even found her near the edge of the clinic rooftop. While drunk, Bianca let it slip to Maggie that she was raped.

Bianca pressed charges against Michael, but after a pre-trial hearing, he was freed due to lack of physical evidence. Bianca learned that she was pregnant and struggled with whether she should terminate the pregnancy. After keeping it secret from Erica for fear of her reaction (Erica had gotten pregnant as a result of rape), she told her mother the truth. Erica urged Bianca to terminate her pregnancy and Bianca seemingly agreed. However, after a last minute conversation in which her sister Kendall (a child of rape) urged her to "do whatever she needed to," Bianca decided to keep her child. Bianca kept this secret from Erica, for fear of the psychological effects this will have on her mother.

Despite Kendall's claim that she had married Michael shortly after Bianca's pre-trial hearing, the two sisters grew closer. Michael's dead body surfaced, and Bianca stood by her sister, who was under suspicion from the police. Kendall learned of Bianca's pregnancy and vowed to keep her secret. When Ryan Lavery almost discovered the truth about Bianca's pregnancy via a sonogram of her unborn child (and in doing so, would reveal the truth of Bianca's baby as the true Cambias heir), Kendall covered and claimed that the sonogram belonged to her. In an effort to protect her sister and unborn child, Kendall went public with the claim that she was carrying Michael's child. With the help of David Hayward, Bianca donated her blood in order for Kendall to prove that she was pregnant.

Bianca relied on Maggie's strength during her pregnancy. Bianca also confided in Lena about her pregnancy, and the two grew closer, although Lena respected Bianca's need for space after recent traumatic events. Unbeknownst to Bianca, Maggie began to develop deeper feelings for her friend, prodded by jealousy at seeing Lena and Bianca's closeness. Maggie even kissed Bianca, but managed to convince Bianca it was just friendly.

When Kendall's fake pregnancy was revealed thanks to Greenlee, Bianca came forward to Erica and admitted that she was still pregnant. Erica, shocked and feeling betrayed, shut down. Bianca began having flashes of the night that Michael was killed and started to believe that she witnessed her mother kill Michael. However, just as it looked as if Erica would confess to the murder to protect an increasingly guilty Kendall, Bianca realized that SHE had killed Michael and had blocked the memory out. Bianca confessed her crime and no charges were brought against her (she shot Michael in self-defense).

Erica remained emotionally shut down after learning of Bianca's pregnancy, but after being accosted by a reporter, told Bianca that to bring a child of rape into the world would only result in pain for mother and daughter. Hurt off Erica's words, Bianca and her friend Babe Chandler went for a drive, only to be stranded in a secluded cabin following a flash flood. Bianca went into labor and Babe helped deliver a baby girl, who Bianca named Miranda. Soon after, Bianca passed out due to post-labor complications. Babe, who had begun labor herself, managed to get a hold of her ex-lover Paul Cramer, and he delivered Babe's child, a boy. Bianca remained unconscious through it all.

Paul, in a scheme to get his sister Kelly Buchanan (of One Life To Live) a baby, drugged Babe and gave her boy to Kelly. He then faked a helicopter crash, prepared to tell the world that Babe's child was killed. However, Babe's husband, JR, and father-in-law Adam came upon the staged crash and threatened Paul if he didn't produce Babe's child. Panicked, Paul told them that Miranda was the child Babe had given birth to. Babe, who had a fuzzy memory of the event thanks to a drugging by Paul and a post-labor infection, believed Paul's version of events as a truth. JR named his newfound daughter Bess.

Bianca regained consciousness and learned that Miranda had died. Devastated, Bianca verbally attacked Erica, claiming that Erica got her wish-Miranda, the child of rape, was gone. Despite Erica's attempts to console Bianca, Bianca told her mother she never wanted to see her again. Whether Bianca will realize that Bess Chandler is really her own Miranda remains to be seen.
