The Nothingness

Surrounded, broken into a million tiny
   shards strewn across the empty
   blanket of sky.
Empty, bringing forth an endless wave
   of silence, adding to the
   nothingness.
Crying, a trail of tiny tears filling
   oceans in your heart.
I'm laying in your arms now, just trying
   to count the stars.
Now I see there are so many, as I
   count the same ones twice.
The nothingness is growing as infinity
   outweighs it.
There is so much to behold, I can't
   contain it all.
And so these visions are like looking
with your face flat against a white
   wall:
There is so much in front of you that
   you see nothing at all.
