1998 Chestnut stallion (now a gelding) with spotted blanket. Legend is sired by Three
Chicks Plaudit. Three Chicks Plaudit was a Supreme Halter Horse by
the age of 3, and was one of the top ApHCC sires in Canada. Even after his
death in 2001, he remains in the ApHCC Top Ten Stallion standings.
Legend's dam, QAR Primadonna comes from the Qu'Appelle Appaloosa Ranch in Saskatchewan.
They are the largest Appaloosa breeders in North America, producing many
fine animals. Many of Legend's siblings are accomplished show horses in
Nova Scotia, winning and placing in a wide range of events. Legend himself
is unshown due to the unavailability of shows in this province which
permit stallions. Legend amazes everyone at his quiet, laid back, very
friendly attitude - you'd never guess he was a stallion! He passed his
personality along to his offspring, along with the size, substance, and
looks suitable for a variety of disciplines. Legend's pedigree includes
such greats as Three Bars, Bright Eyes Brother, Prince Plaudit, Wapiti,
Top Deck, and many more. You can see some of his offspring on the For
Sale and New Beginnings pages. We feel very lucky to own
such an incredible horse!
Reference Sire Only Legend was
gelded in late 2004. It was a loss to the breeding world but he now
lives a life of leisure as a steadfast family mount and companion.
