I'm Italian, class 1964, and one of my favourite hobbies is the game of Othello. To this game is mainly dedicated this page.

INFORMATION

1 . WHERE TO PLAY OTHELLO IN THE NET

Two are the favourite sites for skilled players, but also for beginners, on the Net: the IOS Othello Server and the Japanese Othello Server. Both are accessible through a Telnet connection and are in text mode. You can access it giving only a nickname. If the system requires You a password, it means that your nickname is already used by a registered player. In this case try to connect agin and give another nickname. In these sites You can play Othello with many friend and also with some computer programs (some are really very strong)


If You want to play with me, my nickname on IOS is "shadow".

2. OTHERS OTHELLO'S SITES ON THE NET

The guide To the Game of Othello is the site where You can find all the possible informations about this game, with several links to other sites in the Net.

3. ASSOCIATIONS

In The Guide To The Game Of Othello there is an updated list of the national associations which organize the tournament activity in their country. In Italy there is the Federazione Nazionale Gioco Othello or Home Page of FNGO, which organizes tournaments in Italy and issues a bulletin on the game.
