Game Castle was first created in middle of 1995. It was one page which had a set of useful game sites, and then grew as time went by. Simcity 2000 was the first game featured on Game Castle, in fact the old name of this site was Simcity 2000 Pit Stop Center. This site was first located on my old ISP's ftp site and once I changed ISP I had to move the site over to oocities.com since it was one of the only places that would host a site for free at that time. As time went by new games were added to the Simcity 2000 Pit Stop Center, which made me change the name to Game Castle. Things were going smoothly, but I suddenly lost all interesting in playing games and working on Game Castle. I did answer a few e-mails but that was about it. As time went by the site was getting older and older and wasn't being updated. The traffic my site received dropped quite a bit, but it didn't bother me at the time. About a year passed by, before I decided to start working on the page again. I change the way the site looked majorly by adding pictures and background music, etc... I even came up with GC agents (now called GC Knights) which were a group of volunteers helping me create and add content to the site. Time went by and the site continued to grow, but there was still a lack of updates, they were only made bi-weekly. For almost all of 1998 the site continued to grow (not quickly, but it did grow) and continued to get little updates here and there. Near the end of 1998 the site once again changed for the better. The site you are viewing right now is the new site, which will be updated frequently with new content. Not only is the site easier to update now because everything is neatly organized but there are more knights then ever that are helping. :) Thanks for visiting, Game Castle Webmaster
