Shadow Incarnate promises a darker and more mature plot, targetted at an older age group than Final Fantasy, and many of the other RPGs currently in production. While I currently have not been allowed to see any of the plot, reading the text on the page makes me want to see what the plot is like once the game gets rolling! This game is showcasing some great looking 3D models, especially the one of King Francis. The music on the page sounds great, with definite FF influence, but with a style of its own. The head designer informed me that combat was going to be handled in a manner similar to Vandal Hearts and Shining Force, but with the addition of class specific special abilties, and over 180 spells! How they're going to pull that off, I couldn't guess. While there's not much to see yet on the page, what's there indicates a serious attitude and promises great things once the full game is complete.
