Mario Kart 64 Drivers

Mario and Luigi

Mario and Luigi are average racers. They don't excel in anything. But I don't like them too much. They seem slower than everybody else, even though the speedometer says they all go at the same speed.

Peach, Toad, and Yoshi

Peach, Toad, and Yoshi have good acceleration. They have average cornering ability, but they are very nimble, and they can weave through traffic real good. They are great for Toad's Turnpike. One of their major drawbacks however is that they can get bumped around real easy by the other players.

Donkey Kong, Wario, and Bowser

Wario is my favorite character. These guys have come a long way since regular Super Mario Kart. In the old game they had horrible acceleration, in this game, their acceleration is much better, making them almost unbeatable. These guys can bump anybody also, so there isn't much that threatens these guys in a race.
