Welcome to Avalon. If you are new, or if you just haven't been here for a while, then you should know that Magic and Cameron, the initiators of this game, are unfortunately no longer Avalon's curators due to time restraints. Leadership of this game has been turned over to four volunteers who will be jointly in charge.

Now, for the sake of informing you new people, this is an RPG(Role Playing Game). We each create a character (or two) and play with them. As the characters we made up, we interact with other players and string along different story plots which either are elaborated on by someone else's story or are decided upon during our weekly meeting. It's a lot of fun, and we invite you to join us! :o)

You can read about us further in the FAQ, but for a quick summary now, this is the island of Avalon, a magic land that exists on a completely different plane from your world and is inhabited by your typical fantasy/mythological creatures as well as humans. Yes, this is the island associated with the King Arthur legends, but here on Avalon now, King Arthur is just as far back in the past as he is in your world. Magic and Cameron shaped it into something new when they created the scenario in which we role-play. We like it, and we hope you do, too.
