AMMO! AMMO!

-The different projectiles of Nerf, from darts to arrows-

The 11" arrows are one of the oldest pieces of ammo, generally used in sniper weapons. They are very accurate and difficult to dodge. Nerf has replaced the 11" arrows in the Big Bad Bow with smaller ones, that spin in the air. If a fin is ripped or distorted in some way, your arrow is junk. These projectiles take good care and can be a pain to load around.

T Y P E 1 DARTS

Darts are the most commonly used ammo in usually any war. They have extra padding near the tip of the dart, and have a wider hole at the bottom, which drastically improve accuracy and range. Use these discontinued darts in almost any gun and it improves that weapons' performance.

T Y P E 2 DARTS

This is a more conservative type of dart, which is very common in Nerf guns. Darts can be the most difficult to dodge in a nerf war, and can come in large quantities through chain guns, like the chainblazer. Type 2 darts are thinner and have less range.

L A R A M I DARTS

These darts are only found in the Supermaxx line of nerf guns. They are very small and compact, and can fire out of most nerf guns. They can sting, too. They fire fast and accurate.

Besides type 1 darts, missles are one of the only truly discontinued pieces of ammo. They are slow and somewhat unaccurate. Most missle guns aren't that good in a war, anyway.

Balls were the original pieces of Nerf ammo, and probably the worst. They are inaccurate and have bad range. They are only good in large numbers. Such as the Ballzooka.

R I P ROCKETS

These have turned out to be very common in nerf guns, probably because they are easy to manufacture. Rip Rockets are small, flimsy darts that are generally used in Sidearms. They aren't too accurate, but can be hard to dodge because of their small size.

K O O S H RINGS

The Koosh rings, only used in the Vortex Tornado, is the first aerodynamic ammo in nerf. It fires slow at first, but really picks up its speed in midair. The rings are also very accurate.
