What is A Role Playing Game?

A good definition I found on the web is what are rpgs.
For me RPG's are a great way to relieve frustrations and socialize.
You get together in a group of at least 2-3 people and work toward some preset goal.
It could be rescuing the princess from a dragon to trying to hack into some corporation database in cyberspace.
There are as many different RPG's as there are styles of fiction.
My personal favorites tend to be SciFi/Fantasy ones like Rifts or Dark Gothic ones such as Vampire: The Masquerade.
Silly ones like Toon or Illuminati University are a loy of fun.
Live Action Role Playing is great too.
You actually dress in character and act out what is going on.

	I included this out of nostalgia. I just love the fact that Wizards of the Coast bought them out. Buy The DM's Guide From Amazon.com.
	I love this game, and not just because of the Phil Foglio artwork.(Though it helps!) Tri Tac Systems buy Bureau 13: Stalking the Night Fantastic from Amazon.com.
	This is another favorite of mine. It's a lot of fun to run this game, either for adults or teenagers. Palladium Buy TMNT & Other Strangness from Amazon.com.
