May 16,1996: Working Designs has announced their second of their long-awaited list of games for the Sega Saturn. Shining Wisdom is one of the first 32-bit rendered Action/RPG for the Saturn
Shining Wisdom is presented with an overhead perspective and in a style reminiscent of the popular Zelda series. Combat is carried out in real time arcade format. The player can use his weapon to eliminate the monsters that swarm on-screen. In addition, the player is given control of THREE inventory areas that hold specific items. Shining Wisdom was programed by the prestigious Sonic Team in Japan. Their skill shows in the game. With over 10,000 frames of Animation! Don Shirley, Marketing Director, added, "As is customary with all our games, the marketing and packaging of this game will get the Deluxe treatment. Manuals will be in FULL-COLOR, glossy affairs with foil-stamped, embrossed covers. The CD will have a FULL-COLOR LABEL. Advertising will feature incredible art. We don't skimp on any aspect of the product we send to retail, unlike most publishers who will give gamers chezzy, poorly written black and whits manuals.
