Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Capitol Corridor
Santa Clara County, California (San Jose/Silicon Valley)Standard Disclaimer: This information is being provided by me as a private citizen and is in no way to
be considered to be official VTA information. This corridor would extend light rail from the end of the Tasman Corridor along capitol Ave./Capitol Expressway to Eastridge. Stations likely
placed about every 0.5 miles or so. Likely station locations: I haven't seen any of the plans so this is speculation.
Hostetter (end of Tasman East) - Capitol & Hostetter Berryessa - Capitol & Berryessa Maybury - Capitol & Maybury McKee - Capitol & McKee Alum Rock - Capitol & Alum Rock
This seems to be the end of the current planned corridor. Original plans called for it to be extended to Eastridge. Story - Capitol & Story Ocala - Capitol & Ocala Eastridge
Stations as listed in the San Jose Mercury News, 11/7/96. Hostetter Berryessa Maybury McKee Alum Rock Apparently due to lack of funds, or problems with the City of San Jose and
the County, the part between Alum Rock and Eastridge isn't included at this time. Other stations could be easily added between some of the above stations, especially north of Story. Current VTA Organization Transit Ops.
