Ultimate weapons are, of course the character's last and best weapons. They do a large amount of damage, but have one downside. They normally have no growth for materia, so usually only MASTER materia is recommended for an ultimate weapon.

CLOUD
Ultimate Weapon

This is obtained by killing the Ultimate weapon that is flying around the lake by Junon. The weapon is not that hard to defeat and should not take too much effort.
The weapon gets its strength from Cloud's HP. The higher the HP, the more damage it will do.

BARRET
Missing Score

This can be achieved on the steps that lead up to the sister ray. Before you fight Hojo. There is a save point right before the steps. This is useful because Barret is required in your party in order to get the treasure chest on the steps. Just use the PHS and put him in your party if he isn't already
This gets stronger the more AP a materia has when it is equipped on the weapon. So if you put master materia on this, it will cause a LARGE amount of damage.

TIFA
Premium Heart

This weapon takes a bit of time to get. You must first get the "Key to Sector 5 " key item. This is found in the Bone Village. Just send out for an excavation party for "normal treasure". You should get the key. Now, go back to Midgar and go through the doors. Make your way to Wall Market and go to the vending machine that was broken earlier. (The one with the machine gun) It should be fixed now and you should get the Premium Heart from it. After that it will break down again forever.
This gets its strength as Tifa scores Yeah's on her limit break slots. the more Yeah's she hits, the more damage it will accumulate. But as it gets to 9999, it will drop down to lower digits. This is was not taken from the Faq by K. Megura. Which says that the more Misses you score, the more it powers up

AERIS
Princess Guard

This is found in the temple of the Ancients. It is found in the clock room at the end of the 4th digit.
This supposedly powers up as she heals her allies. The more she heals the more damage it deals

RED XIII
Limited Moon

Found in Cosmo Canyon when Bugenhagen is near death. Red's Grandpa will give him the weapon before dying.
Gets its strength by having more MP. More MP=More damage

CAIT SITH
Marvelous Cheer

Found in Shinra's Headquarters on 64th floor in the health spa. Located in the back of the lockers. 3rd row, left side
Powers up as Cait's Hp is closer to maximum

YUFFIE
Conformer

Found in the crashed Gelinka underwater, near the Gold Saucer. Located in the generator room on the floor in the upper left
The closer to Yuffie's own level the enemy is, the more damage it will do

CID
Venus Gospel

Found in rocket town. Talk to the one man that is near the item shop. Talk to him several times and he will give you Cid's venus Gospel
The more MP you have, the more damage it does

VINCENT
Death Penalty

Found in cave near the Gold Saucer area. Enclosed by mountains and water you need the submarine or gold chocobo. You also need Vincent in your party. Visit the cave in disk 2, then again in disk 3 to get his Ultimate Weapon
The more enemies that Vincent kills, the more damage the weapon will do. The more the other characters kill, such as if you don't let Vincent kill any enemies, the weapon will gradually do less and less damage. Be sure to let Vincent kill a few nasties.
