Yuffie is a character you stumble upon in the a patch of woods. You must fight her and win to talk to her. After you fight her, you have to flatter her to make her join your team, if you answer wrongly, she will steal your gil, so be careful. When you finally go to her hometown Wu Tai, she takes your materia. Later in the game, you will get it back so do not worry.
