Saga Frontier 2 (playstation)

Due to the fact that Saga Frontier 1 was a torture to play, many gamers may not feel like giving SF2 a chance.  Being an optimistic gamer, i couldnt help but be curious about SF2.  The very premise of a non-linear or "open ended" rpg is admittedly fascinating.  However, the first SF was, to be blunt, a disaster.  For me, if i am playing an rpg and i find myself thinking "why the hell am i playing this game?" while stroling through meaningless dungeon after meaningless dungeon, i know there is a problem.  While this was defintely the case for SF1, it isnt the case for SF2....for the most part anyway.  Although there is still that distinct "lack of motivation" due to a lack of a truly compelling story in SF2, it is vastly better than the original SF, and, for the most part, is a solid game.
