| Arno River and Ponte Vecchio at night The Ponte Vecchio was the only Florentine bridge to remain standing during world war 2. The present structure was built in the 14th century. Visitors find famous shops on jewellery and gold ornaments. |
| Kongens Nytorv is one of the most interesting squares in Copenhagen. It was originally outside the oldest eastern gate to the city. A new part of the city was planned and gradually developed north-east of the old city during the 17th/18th centuries. Kongens Nytorv means "The King's New Square" linking the old and the new part of the city. |

The beautiful sight of the lagoon and the island of S.Giorgio and freedom for the last time evoked sighs of condemned prisoners as they were led through it to the executioner. |
| Ten-Story Aloha Tower and Walkway Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, USA. Built in 1926 the Tower (184 feet tall) was the tallest building in the Hawaiian Islands until the 1960's. Below the dome are two large clocks, one facing the harbor and one facing the island. Between each clock face and balcony the word "ALOHA" can be seen from miles. |
