Presov Greek-Catholic Eparchial Bishop, Monsignor Jan Babjak, SJ, issues his personal judgment condemning actual text deeming it unfit for publication due to findings warranting its content as demagogic, additionally classifying its third chapter as "quasi heretical".
See document beside.
Questioning the competency of judgment surrounding literature under debate, its entire contents are then forwarded the world-renowned catholic theologian His Eminence, Cardinal Tomas Spidlik, SJ, of Rome Italy. Not only does this competent theologian find the book to be fully laudable and doctrinally accurate, His Eminence, Cardinal Spidlik, also includes his own personal introduction to the opening words of the same publication. See below textual Introduction by Cardinal Tomas Spidlik, SJ:
Anyone examining the facts of this case is left questioning (as did the actual author of this treatise) the rational for its sever condemnation by local authorities. Additionally, the logical consequence to this scandal begs the deeper responsibility of  assessing the level of theological competency presently found at the highest administra-tional echelons within the Presov Eastern Rite Eparchy of Slovakia! Consequently, this very real yet forlorn travesty now leaves the greater world of Christian faithful immeasurably aghast at such scandalous handling of a simple case of theological research in the hope of its publication. Furthermore what does this say for the sure to follow as well as to date misguided abuse inflicted upon those innocent victims herein implicated? Do they  not deserve any respect or human dignity at all? Sadly, we are now left to evaluate the dire ramifications (of which there are many) following this case's outcome. Below we leave you but only a couple to ponder...

i. In the event anyone else should equally wish to publish their theological findings, what are the odds that similar ramifications wouldn't be imposed against them in an already heavily politicised atmosphere of intimi-dation and abuse at the highest echelons of administration presently found at Presov's Greek-Catholic Eparchy?

ii. Considering the at present abuse and intimidation surrounding this case, what are the odds of any further scholarly research and publication coming out of present day Eastern Slovakia? With this church's immediate policy of cultural/ecclesial 'Brain-Drain' & 'imposed silence' against its clergy and intelligentsia are the powers that be instituting a protocol of religious ignorance and 'cover-up' in the hopes of keeping the people 'away' from the facts, something which is the right of every Christian Believer and non-believer including those of the Diocese of Presov's Greek-Catholic faithful? Similarly, why does the present administration  in question want to keep hidden at all costs, the historical facts pertaining Christianity and its people of ancient 'Rus', in a time of self-examination and public openness between that of the Church and modern society?
