Such a smile Bright and Tender, descending upon me.
Rocky me mommy, rocky me mommy, Sing a lull-la-by.
Bring back those days, days of old, You would caress me when I cry.
You always knew my questions, before they were even ask. You
saw my needs and fulfilled them. Without you I would not have been.
You brought me in, and trained me up. You showed me the Good Lords love. Mamma how did you always know so much, could answer my every whim.
Now my grand daughters come to me, and stand in awe of where to turn. Lord help me guide them, show the way. For someday they will be, where I have been.
Oh my momma how I miss you. I've longed so for your touch
The skill of mothering I learned from you, you taught me oh so
much.

My thoughts formed. Aren't we so like him. We get our heart set on something and away we go, with all our body, mind and spirit.
Turn our focus toward Jesus, use that kind of determination to be a Christ like one.

Peered out my window. Appalled, the devastation of
man.
Sat in my car in a parking lot. Watched birds and wildlife
feeding in the grass. Annunciate, the splendor of God.
Stood atop a mound overlooking a city. Turned full circle and
then closed my eyes. Shriek, the devastation of man.
Realized the space I take is small. The control I have is
even smaller. But to He who made it all, Behold, the splendor of God!
