1/15 - Work on Forbes continues slowly. Hopefully I'll soon find a routine with regular writing time now that classes have gotten underway. Since there is little else to report, I'll leak out some potential future projects:
1) A suspense/horror about a young woman locked in a basement where there is a strobe light constantly running.
2) A historical fiction about the Berlin Airlift. My maternal grandfather flew planes for the airlift.
3) A novel entitled "Crocodile Smile" I have no idea what it's about but I think it will be in a "Johnny Depp" sort of style. He's the second greatest character actor of recent in my opinion (first being Daniel Day-Lewis) and I'd love to write an eccentric character in Depp's honor.
4) Three or four Heartland spinoffs including following Garrett's brother Marcus as he goes off to war, a love story of how Garrett's Roman parents came together, and an epic detailing the founding of the Dominus house.
Also, my novel about the Japanese-American internment camps during WWII is now officially on the to-write list under the title 9066 after the Executive order that approved the camps. Watch for some major shift in the order the books will be written after college graduation. Over time, the importance/enthusiasm of certain projects in my mind shifts. My next project after Forbes will now most likely be The Choice with either Land and Liberty or 9066 following that.
