Thanks to all the runners who came from all over to participate in our races!
Foofie and I were having a little pillow talk last night and she said it is time to reinvent the TIMTAM Festival of Races. She said it was too high tech and too expensive. "You should make it free," she said. (I try not to argue with someone more intelligent than me - especially a woman.) So look for some changes next year. But just as much fun!  Best to you all - Arne N.Larsen

Several things of note this year
:
>
Some runners saw the red fox run accross the pedistrian creek bridge and thru the back of Brookside Park a half hour or so before the races!
>There were no DNF's
>About 10 finishers ran their first marathon or 50K
>New men's marathon course record
>First wheel chair racer ever at TIMTAM races finished the marathon
>Youngest (17yearold woman) finisher ever at Central States Marathon
>Runners came from 14 other states, Florida to Hawaii
>Over half of marathon & 50K runners were from out-of-state

("early starts" started at different times - "early start" times are not official )
