DAY ONE
So there I was, just minding my own business, surfing the power boat ads on Yachtworld.com (as I normally do), when this reasonably-priced Chris-Craft popped up.
"Halcyon" - on the hard -- fall  2000.
(That's the Niagra-Mohawk Power Plant in the background)
THOUGHT PROCESS:
Chris-Craft, I know - but watzza Roamer?
Looks cool, motors rebuilt, and everyones gonna fit -
but an aluminum hull?
Hmmm, must investigate this further,....
A super strong, lightweight aluminum hull and these babies are the reasons why.
Roger Penske's "Detroit Eagle" a 153 foot Feadship. She cruises at 28 knots, and 36 WOT.
(Surfers beware!)
..., let's see, Burger, Derecktor, Feadship - all made in aluminum.

OK, if it's good enough for the world's bizzilionaires,
it's good enough for me.
