You've lifted my spirit up high,
given me reassurance when weak.
Saw my heart when I'd done wrong,
pointed me to the One that I seek.

You've brought many smiles to my face,
cheered me up when I was so dispaired.
You showed me that life is wonderful,
just by demonstrating that you care.

You have encouraged me to be my best,
let me see that I can be a good friend,
that people can accept me for who I am.
I can be around with a smile to lend.

I can not even measure your kind deeds.
You have been a friend in so many ways.
I'll count my blessings, add you twice.
Friends make life better all our days.
