Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
starring Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Elijah Wood, and Kirsten Dunst
This is the best movie I've seen all year. It's crazy and random and all over the place, but then there's this underlying beauty and sadness. I was worried that it would be another one of those Jim Carrey trying to be serious movies, but I totally forgot that it was even him once the movie started.
About halfway through the movie I started to get really sad because the concept is so depressing. Imagine having the person you love more erase you from their memory....It's just devastating.
The coolest thing about the movie is when Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are trying to hide from the "erasing" and everything is falling to pieces around them. ...
Um I feel like I'm writing really randomly so I'm gonna stop now. Its a good movie, see it.

Love Actually
Starring HUGH GRANT, Colin Firth, and the rest don't really matter
*Sigh*, this movie was just exactly what I was in the mood for. Yes, it's cliche and sappy and the ultimate chick-flick, but god, it's really sweet. Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are wonderfully British and just so darned cute. It's just a great movie about love and that "love actually is". Hurray.
Lost in Translation
Starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson
I wasn't really sure what to expect when I went to see this movie. The previews didn't really explain the plot or what the movie was about. All that I knew was that it was supposed to be Bill Murray's funniest work yet and that Scarlett Johansson, one of my favorite actresses was also in it.
After watching the movie, I understood why the previews didn't go into the plot: There wasn't one. It's basically just about two Americans stuck in Tokyo. I'm usually very disappointed in comedies because the humor tends to be very obvious and stupid, but in Lost in Translation the humor is subtle and smart.
It's a really sweet movie. The ending is very Non-Hollywood, which I love. I'd recommend it if you're ever in the mood for a slow moving, pretty movie with really really good acting.
