Well i am not much of a writer so here goes I started drawing when i left school.I am a self taught artist I have mucked around with all mediums from oils to water colours to pencils to pastels the one thing that i haven't done is etching, I can draw buildings to faces landscapes to animals but as soon as i saw Norman Lindsays work I knew thats what I wanted to draw so I did.I draw in pen and ink and its all done in pointillism other words it just all small dots one picture can take up to three months to complete depending on the size and how many figures there are.
I have complied a book of fifty line drawings on 100% rag paper to which took me five years to complete and am still working on THE TEMPTATION OF SAINT ANTHONY by Gustave Flaubert,LES FLEURS DE MAL by Baudelaire, A SEASON IN HELL by Arthur Rimbaud and ATALANTA'S RACE by William Morris.
All the pictures are for sale except for the books,the price ranges from $150.oo to $250.oo U.S dollars
The pictures are not framed as with shipping & handling and glass don't mix and plus you might like to pick the frame you want..The sizes of the pictures are bigger than what you see here Again all the work is done on 100%rag paper so it won't turn to dust after a couple of years.
A lot of people ask why draw nudes,well why not.but i draw nudes because there are more feelings in a woman,emotions and a lot more pain.The choices in there life are more visible on the body,as it can be beautiful it also can be ugly.I find the young and the old are the most interesting subjects to draw.
