I got the idea to form Tinkuy Peru in February 2002 while I was
attending a conference in New York. This conference was sponsored by
Novica.com in association with National Geographic to promote my
special weaving style. I am a weaver by profession. Since returning
to Peru I formulated this idea to help my fellow country people.
