Tino's Projects

Hi all of the projects you see here were made with free
available software.

All the games were made with a game library called Allegro.

For the dos programs I used djgpp and rhide.

For the window programs I used mingw32 and devcpp.

Hope you like the games send me any feed back. thanks. (Right click save as to download)

This is my current project. It is the first time I've used opengl and I think it's going pretty good. The exe, source and datafiles are included in this zip. It was written with alleggl and visual studio 6. I also included a mingw project file.
Features:
Badguys, shooting, jumping, nice terrain and towns, explosions
targetting, a train, map and a cool demo.

If you have never tried allegro games before there are a couple files you will need before you download the games. (Don't worry they are small downloads)
For the dos games there is a setup program to help detect what sound drivers to use in dos. (You can try running the game without this file but it may not detect the sound and crash.)Run the setup program in the folder the game is located. Once you configure the sound go to save and exit and the game will work.

As a warning the dos games will probably only work with windows 98 or older. (They won't work for winxp.)
dossetup.zip
For the windows games there is a setup program (This setup program is different from the dos setup program) to help detect what sound drivers to use in windows. (You can try running the game without this file but it may not detect the sound and crash.)Run the setup program in the folder the game is located. Once you configure the sound go to save and exit and the game will work.

Also you will need to download and extract this dll to the windows/system folder.
