"Old Blue"

Below are some pic.s of my 2nd woodsbuggy project. My 1974 Ford Brono "Old Blue".

The Pic.s above are of Old Blue when I got her on 04-11-99, she was completely stock except for the white spoke wheels.

Below are a couple shots of the way Old Blue looked when I sold her on 04-08-03, after installing a 2"suspension & a 2"body lift,  & upgrading to 32" X 11.50" all terain tires & 10" aluminum Wheels. Other body mod.s include cutting the fender wells changing the left door, and adding a hood scoop to clear the 351's breather.

Underhood view after setting the 85 Lincoln 351W in it, it now has Wild Horses full length headers & dual exhausts with glass packs, an aluminum double 1"core radiator, and a 10 blade 16" electric cooling fan. Other mechanical mod.s include switching to a lower geared T-shift type Dana 20 transfercase, & a 3spd tranny out of a V-8 equipped  Bronco.

Other upgrades that were  done to Old Blue include: new radius arm and track bar bushings, Warn Premium lock out hubs, a roll bar, Escort bucket seats and a Hurst 3 spd. floor shifter.
